Spare Time in Northampton is one of the bowling alleys in this area that provides the Kids Free Bowl. (Pinz in the Hampshire Mall in Hadley also has Kids Free Bowl.) This includes two FREE games, but does not include the cost of shoes.

Every day from May 1st until September 29th, once you’ve registered your children between the ages of 2 and 15, they can play. Anyone over the age of 15 can also pay for the family pass to be able to bowl with them everyday with them at a severely discounted rate. This can cost anywhere from $30-45, depending on a coupon code available at the time, for up to 4 people to be able to bowl.

There are two ways to redeem this fantastic deal. The easiest way is by downloading the app onto your smartphone. From there, you’ll log in, select who’s bowling, and present it to the bowling alley where they will enter a code. The other way, is good old fashioned printing. You can then hand in the ticket at the bowling alley for each member that is bowling.  Their name will be on the ticket.

At Spare Time, the shoe rental is $5.25 each (this includes tax), while at Pinz it's 4.75 plus tax. If you plan on going daily, it might save quite a few dollars to buy some bowling shoes elsewhere. The food court at Spare Time is almost never open when we’ve gone and seems to be more open on weekends. There are vending machines with a variety of food and drinks, including Gatorade and Keurig coffee pods. No outside food or water is allowed. If you’re looking for some indoor fun during a hot or rainy day, the bowling alley might just be your answer for some good music and great times. Check the daily listings for additional information and a sign up link. The link includes a referral code. When you sign up, you'll get a specific referral link for yourself. You might get a cool bottle.
