Easter Craft: Water Bottle Bunny Basket

By Michelle Melnik; Macaroni Kid Deerfield/Greenfield March 27, 2015
This basket is the perfect size for a place setting (simply add utensils and a napkin).  It's also the perfect size for giving small treats such as a small bag of Easter cookies, candy, or cupcake, or as a place to hold a few crayons or other small craft item.

We used an empty water bottle as the base and other craft items from around the house, making it a frugal but fun Easter activity!

Simply cut the top off an 8 oz. water bottle and cover it with card stock in the color of your choice. Cut bunny ears from card stock and attach to the back of the water bottle basket. Use pipe cleaners, pom poms, and googly eyes to give your bunny a face, whiskers and a basket handle!

Fill with treats and share with a friend!
